In Irish folklore, a leprechaun is a mischievous magical creature. Solitary entities, a leprechaun spends much of his time squirrelling away cold coins, which he hides in a pot at the end of a rainbow. Some say if you capture a leprechaun, he will tell you where his gold is hidden. The National Leprechaun Museum in Dublin, Ireland, features exhibits about these mystical beings in Irish folktales as well as modern interpretations. Pot of gold is not included.
