They say you can wear your heart on your sleeve, but this Valentine’s Day we’re asking to show off just how you really feel.  While everyone else is getting all dolled up for a romantic evening don’t just sit around in your sweats eating mass amounts of chocolate hearts that you purchased for yourself.  Some might call you bitter but we like to think that you just have a good sense of humor when it comes to your relationship status this Valentine’s Day.

Not ready to spend another Valentine’s Day single and alone? This makeup is sure to make the men swoon, literally.  At the very least, you’ll get their hearts beating faster!

Start by mapping out the heart shape you want on your face with a liner pencil.

Roll out thin worms of scar wax 2-3 inches each.

Apply one roll at a time along the line.

Use a metal spatula to smooth the outer edge of the wax into the skin.

valentine02

Use castor oil and a sponge to help blend the wax even more.

valentine03

With a sponge completely cover the wax in liquid latex and allow to dry.

valentine04

Fill in the heart with red makeup. Be sure to get fill in along the edges.

valentine05

Add shading to the inner edge of the wax by using red mixed with black.

Use the same dark red to add shadow to the upper eyelids.

valentine06

Use a brush to add a pinkish red to the lips.

Powder the area around the heart shape.

Go over with foundation to match the natural skin tone.

valentine07

Use a rough sponge to apply fake blood over the red makeup.

Apply the fake blood to outer edge of the heart as well.

valentine08

Allow extra fake blood to pool up along the inner edge of the bottom of the heart.
