Mystique Makeup Tutorial

The X-Men cemented themselves as some of the most popular comic book characters of all-time, and after superheroes started making the leap from the page to the silver screen, the X-Men responded a slate of blockbuster movies to back up their popularity. Now, after more than 15 years and 10 films to lean on, the X-Men have remained as popular as ever.

Of course, one of the most popular characters associated with the successful franchise is the shapeshifting mutant Raven Darkholme, also known as Mystique. Her dark red hair and scaled blue skin are instantly recognizable and have become the staple of her fame, despite her initial desire to hide her natural appearance as much as possible.

So get yourself ready to change your own skin and transform from the self you know into the mysterious and powerful mutant herself. Unless Beast sticks you with his mutation cure, you’ll look ready to change your appearance at any given moment.

Our friend Caitlyn Kreklewich put together this fantastic imagining of the shapeshifter. Follow along with the video below to achieve the look yourself!
