Applying False Lashes

Tired of gluing your eyes closed and lash strips that just won’t stick? Don’t panic! We’re here to help end the struggle of applying fake eyelashes. We’ll show you how to glamify your eyes with confidence. In barely a blink of an eye you can go from “OH NO” to Eyelash Pro. Just follow the steps and watch our one minute video.

Lashes And Lash Glue

You will need a set of lashes and eyelash adhesive. A pair of tweezers can be helpful if you have trouble applying the lashes with your fingers.

Apply Glue To Lash Strip

For this demonstration we won’t be applying any other makeup. Put on the rest of your makeup, including eyeliner, before applying the lashes.

Apply a thin layer of glue directly to the lash strip.

Allow the Lash Glue to Dry

Allow the lash glue to dry and become slightly tacky before attempting to stick it to your eyelid. About 20-30 seconds should do the trick.

Stick the lash strip onto the center of your eyelid as close to the actual lash line as you can.

This is when a set of tweezers can come in handy. Hold the lash strip with tweezers instead of your fingers to help you see more clearly.

Press the Lash Strip onto Your Eyelid

Now push each end of the lash strip into place and gently press and hold the strip for a few seconds to make sure it is securely applied.

If the ends won’t stay put you probably didn’t allow the glue to dry enough. Gently pull the lash strip off of your eye and start over.

NOTE: Apply additional eyeliner if you need a touch up, or to hide any visible lash strip. Add a layer of mascara to help blend your natural and false lashes together.

To help remove the lashes you can swipe a cotton swap soaked in oil free eye makeup remover over the lash strip before gently pulling it off. If any of the lash glue got on your natural lashes this will ensure a pain free removal.

We hope this helped you get those lashes on and looking fabulous, now you can blink your way to a more glamorous lifestyle. Share your quick tips by tagging us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
