Little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice, right?
There are three girls who are made of that and then some with the help of Chemical X. While Professor Utonium may have failed at making the perfect little girl, he did create three little superheroes in the process. Each girl possessed one of elements of his “perfect little girl” recipe while also being able to do things like fly, be super strong, have super senses, be invisible among many other things thanks to the Chemical X.
And thus the Powerpuff Girls were born. These three very different girls came together week-after-week to help fight the criminals that plagued their home, Townsville, USA. There were 78 episodes plus a few extra specials added to the franchise before it was rebooted this year. So if you’re looking for a super look that’ll kick some serious costume contest butt this Halloween, look no further. We put together so cute but simple Powerpuff Girls costumes that you can DIY at home!
Blossom is made of everything nice. She’s the self-proclaimed leader of the team. She’s usually the most level-headed of the group and is usually the one to orchestrate the plans and tactics. But despite her personality, Blossom is know for her long, red hair, big pink eyes, pink dress and her red hair bow. Along with her sisters, she wears white tights, a black belt and black Mary Janes.
If her name wasn’t a clue, Bubbles’ personality ingredient is sugar. She’s kind and super sweet but don’t let that fool you. She can hold her own in a fight and can be enraged just like anyone else. Her signature color is blue. Her eyes match her dress and she sports cute pigtails in her blonde hair.
You don’t want to mess with Buttercup. It’s no wonder why she’s got the reputation as the toughest of the three. Her personality ingredient is spice. She’s always ready to get her hands dirty and would rather act than plan. Her hair is dark and short and she sports a green dress to match her green eyes.
