Baby Shark Hoodie Eyes & Nostril

Cut two symmetrical circles out of the white felt and two symmetrical ovals out of the black felt that is smaller than the white circles as shown above. Tip: fold the felt in half prior to cutting the circles to have two symmetrical shapes.

Cut a tiny half-circle into the top left corner of the black felt ovals about ¼ down the side.

Cut two small ovals from the darker shade felt for the nose holes.

Baby Shark Hoodie Layout

Layout the white felt right above the hoodie front pocket. Measure the white felt to fit the front of the hoodie.

Use the marker to outline the shape of the hoodie pocket. Then, cut the outlined shapes.

Measure the red felt to match the length of the top of the hoodie front pocket. Mark it, then cut half a circle from the red felt to create the mouth.

Baby Shark Hoodie Teeth

Then cut three bigger and two smaller triangles out of white felt. These are the top teeth of the baby shark.

Place the three bigger triangles as the front teeth and the two smaller triangles on the edge of the teeth as the photo above.

Mommy Shark

Mommy Shark Hoodie Steps

Follow the same steps to create Mommy Sharks’ eyes and nostrils, using the black, white and pink felt.

Cut out a mouth shape with red felt and rectangles of white for her teeth.

Measure white felt to be the same length as the red felt.

Fold the white felt in half and then cut 3½ triangle tips to form the teeth.

Repeat the same process for the bottom teeth. Place the teeth alongside the mouth. Mark which teeth start to arch upwards and then cut a long slit in one of the teeth.

Glue the sides of the slit on top of each other to create an “arched” look for the teeth.

Mommy Shark Hoodie Lips

For the lips, cut an oval out of the dark pink felt. Then cut it in half horizontally.

Draw a small cupid’s bow for the top of the lips and cut it out.

Use the other half of the pink oval for the bottom lip. Adhere both on either side of the mouth respectively.

Mommy Shark Eyelashes

Use the leftover white felt from the oval that was cut previously for the shape of the eyes and draw an outline for eyelashes.

Mommy Shark Hoodie Final

Use this template to cut out the lashes from the black felt. Tip: fold the black felt in half to cut out two identical lashes.

Daddy Shark

Daddy Shark Hoodie Steps

Follow the same steps to create Daddy Sharks’ eyes and nostrils, using the black and white felt.

Cut out a mouth shape with red felt and rectangles of white for his teeth.

Measure white felt to be the same length as the red felt.

Fold the white felt in half and then cut 3½ triangle tips to form the teeth.

Daddy Shark Hoodie Mouth

Repeat the same process for the bottom teeth. Place the teeth alongside the mouth. Mark which teeth start to arch upwards and then cut a long slit in one of the teeth.

Glue the sides of the slit on top of each other to create an “arched” look for the teeth.

Fins

Baby Shark Hoodie Fins

Fold the felt in half and outline a fin using your marker. Use the dark yellow felt for baby shark, pink for mommy shark and dark blue for daddy shark.

Cut two identical fins and glue them together leaving half an inch at the bottom of the fin.

Then measure the length of the fin and cut into the backside of the hoodie a slit long enough to fit the fin inside.

Glue half an inch of the bottom of the fin and attach it to the inside of the slit. Repeat these steps on the other side.

Allow the glue to dry. Then stand the fin up and enjoy your shark fin!
