The movie’s success, even now, so long after its 1988 release, has brought the odds of the long-discussed sequel to increase!

Beetlejuice Makeup Tutorial Step 1

Prep the wig with a few spritzes of green hairspray.

Then grab a big brush and lay down white makeup all over the forehead of the wig, face and neck. Leave the area around the eyes uncovered.

Use a stippling sponge with black makeup to add stubble around the chin and upper lip.

Fill in the entire eye socket with purple makeup.

then cover the upper and lower lids with red makeup.

Use a fluffy brush to soften the outer edge of the purple on the cheeks.

Add a dark arched brow with a charcoal shadow.

Make a roughly textured sponge by tearing small bits off a disposable wedge.

Sponge green blotches over in sections over the face- use a reference photo for accuracy. Apply lightly and in layers until you like how it looks.

Mix a slightly darker green tone to add variations to the patches.

With a liner brush and grey shadow, fill in the creases on the forehead to define them.

Go over the upper and lower lids with a light layer of the charcoal shadow.

Clean any white makeup off the lips.

Use a cotton swab to dry the teeth.

Apply tooth color to the upper and lower teeth.

Now “turn on the juice and see what shakes loose!”
